Dieter is a Founder and Director of Harness Financial specialising in investment advice and retirement planning. He began his career in accounting and financial management before becoming a Financial Adviser in South Africa in 2012. After moving to New Zealand in 2018, he founded Savvy Wealth, which merged with Rees-Thomas Financial in 2023 to form Harness Financial.

Dieter enjoys helping clients make decisions today that give them greater choice, security and peace of mind in retirement.

Based in Wellington, he enjoys reading, particularly theology and philosophy, and remains a loyal Springbok supporter. He shares his home with Coco, his wonderfully grumpy dachshund.
