Brad is an experienced Financial Adviser with seven years of experience in the financial services sector.

Brad, a Hawke’s Bay local, and his wife, Yvette, have lived in Hastings for over 20 years. After leaving the Royal New Zealand Navy, they returned to the Bay to raise their family.
With years of experience in account management, Brad transitioned into financial planning to help others. He previously provided retirement and financial advice at a well-known practice before founding Common Sense Financial Planning with Gary Hemmings in 2018. After Gary’s retirement in 2021, Brad renamed the business MacDonald Wealth, focusing on holistic financial planning.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys sports, especially cricket and golf, and loves spending time outdoors.
